Ruxandra M. Hill, ’16 (XP-85), is an advisor to a complex global bank, interactively designing bespoke and high-value strategic initiative solutions across firm-wide cross-border functions as VP & director and head US risk strategy & integration at BMO Financial Group.
Over 16 years, Hill has built a reputation as a strategic leader and change agent on diverse end-to-end C-Suite priorities, being a forward-thinking decision maker with the ability to frame and quickly evaluate issues from an operational, financial, and strategic perspective. Her risk and corporate culture based focus is on simplifying the way we do business, impacting vision/strategy on transformation initiatives, anticipating challenges, and adjusting delivery to balance short-term imperatives with long-term goals.
As an active community leader, Hill is a mentor at BMO and Elmhurst College, and board director and first vice chair at The Executives Club of Chicago, serving on the talent management and nominating committees. She is a past board director of the Canada-US Business Council and Housing Forward (agency supporting homeless clients), serving on the governance and nominating committee.
Hill earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in international business and economics from Elmhurst College.
