I love coming to class, 'cause you know you're going to see all your friends, you know it's going to be tough, but you have a great time just learning and being at Chicago Booth.
Kathy Thurston: 00:37
Long days, but lots of learning, lots of fun, and there's always a little bit of celebrating at the end of the weekend.
Phil Berger (Booth faculty member): 00:45
The Chicago Executive MBA Program here at the Gleacher Center has a lot of locational advantages. Chicago's location in the US is so central and so easy to get back and forth from in terms of transportation that it's very easy for our students, many of whom live all across the US and beyond to get in here and go back to their place of work.
Phil Berger: 01:11
Chicago is actually a very important economy and very well diversified. We have a huge number of Fortune 500 companies here. We're a big financial services center, very big in medical. Even entrepreneurship, especially in technology, Chicago has a big growing presence in those areas as well.
Kathy Thurston: 01:31
It's a tight, close-knit community. It lends itself very well to networking on a business and on a personal level.
John Mazarakis: 01:40
Coming through Chicago every week to me means I'm going to meet the friends that I made in the last year and a half and just exchange great ideas. Whether it's talking about politics or talking about business, or even sharing your personal story. That's what I look forward to.
