Get Involved with BANC

BANC provides Booth alumni with a unique opportunity to use their business expertise and skills on a pro bono basis to help Chicago-area nonprofits further their missions and solve meaningful issues that impact their constituents, the local community and society at large.

Project Information

  • Projects last 5-6 months from when work begins.
  • BANC typically serves 5-7 nonprofit clients during each cycle. Currently, nonprofit clients must be based in the Chicago area.
  • Alumni are matched to projects based on their interests and the skills needed for each project.
  • Unfortunately, due to high demand, not all nonprofits or alumni who apply can be selected. We do maintain pipelines of both potential clients and consultants so we look forward to staying in touch to make you aware of future opportunities as they become available.

Alumni volunteers apply  October 2024
Consultants selected and teams formed  November/December 2024
Project work begins  January 2025
Projects completed  May/June 2025


Since our founding in 2015, BANC has helped nonprofits understand their markets, identify areas of growth, leverage data to drive impact, and set a course for a powerful future.

Making a Difference: BANC Impact (as of July 2024): 55 projects completed, 307consultants, 29,039 hours of consulting provided, $6 Million value of consulting services

Nonprofit organizations are notoriously under-resourced. The BANC team assisted our organization in providing our stakeholders with mission-impact indicators in a clear, consistent and concise way. Without access to their talent, this project would still be on our wish list.
