I grew up in Spain in a small family business. I've always been excited about the international trade and commodities. I'm a commodities risk manager for Mondelez International. I'm based in Switzerland. Mondelez International, it's a major chocolate manufacturer with presence everywhere in the world. I'm responsible for buying the cocoa that goes into the production of chocolate.

I've been looking for something to get me excited every day to learn something new. I couldn't think of a more complete program to allow me that. Having spent 15 years around the world, I learned the differences between education in different continents, in different cultures. I've always been very excited by the culture that Chicago was promoting. This open culture, this close relationship with the professors and the community, this is something that is very unique.

The most challenging for me is to manage the time. Being full time employed, starting full time, and having a family requires very good management of your time. Every time I go back to work after a week at school, I do feel I have a better understanding of the business. Being at this program, it's a continuous learning experience. You learn in class and you learn outside class. Every day I'm studying. Every day I'm learning something new. This keeps me excited.
