I don’t look at it as a degree. I look at it as being part of a community. In fact, I feel like my ties to Booth will strengthen over time. Part of the whole program is this extension into the community and the cohesiveness that happens as those ecosystems flourish among the alumni. So you don’t ever—you may graduate from Booth, but you’re always going to be part of that community.

The stuff that I’m studying, the stuff that I’m reading, is the stuff that has my intrinsic interest. So, it’s not really hard for me to do that because it’s just really interesting. If people really knew how manageable this is and how enjoyable it is, I think there’d be a lot more folks that would do it. A lot of people presume that it’s really, really hard and unmanageable and I just can’t wait to get through it, and the opposite is really true. It renews me. It rejuvenates me. It refreshes me. I feel connected into this ecosystem where so much is going on.
