Faculty Person 3 SwissPortraitHuman Connections in the Age of AI is designed for leaders who recognize that the future of the workforce will be shaped not only by advances in technology, but by the quality of human relationships within and across organizations
As AI transforms how people communicate, collaborate, and make decisions, trust, influence, and social capital become increasingly important drivers of performance. In this immersive three-day program, you will apply the Social Capital at Work framework to understand how human, social, and AI capital work together to create organizational value. Through research-based insights, organizational network analysis, practical tools, and peer discussion, you will learn how to strengthen collaboration, build more resilient networks, and lead effectively in a workplace where humans and intelligent systems increasingly work side by side.
Based on Social Capital at Work: Building the Hidden Asset that Drives Trust, Engagement, and Performance (Simon Acumen, 2026) and co-delivered by authors John Burrows and Seth Rachlin, this immersive program translates the book's research and framework into a practical leadership experience.

This program is designed for leaders who want to stop leaving social capital to chance and start building it with intention. It is especially relevant for executives, managers, and talent leaders responsible for organizational performance, culture, collaboration, transformation, and employee engagement.
Participants may lead a team, a function, a business unit, or an enterprise-wide initiative. They may be navigating AI adoption, hybrid work, post-merger integration, organizational redesign, cross-functional coordination, culture change, or declining trust and engagement. The common thread is that they recognize performance depends not only on strategy, technology, and individual talent, but also on the quality of relationships, trust, and informal networks across the organization.
Participants will leave with a practical framework, diagnostic tools, a concrete 90-day action plan, and a peer cohort that itself models the kind of social capital the program teaches. No specific academic background is required.
