The Advanced Management Program is designed for executives who are ready to elevate their leadership and organizational impact.
Chicago Booth's AMP equips senior executives to strengthen analytical decision-making, broaden their functional expertise, and lead with greater enterprise impact. The program combines three week-long core sessions in leadership, a choice of electives across strategy, finance, and innovation, and personalized coaching—ensuring a curriculum built around what matters most to your growth. From day one, you’ll apply practical frameworks, gain insights from world-class faculty, and learn alongside a powerful global peer community.
With a flexible schedule, you can start any time of year and tailor your experience around your commitments. You can begin your AMP journey with an elective as early as fall 2026.
Upon completion, you’ll join Booth’s alumni network of 61,000+ leaders in 120 countries.
AMP is designed for senior-level executives who have advanced quickly in their careers, and are looking for a customized, flexible program that addresses their specific development needs and helps them lead their organizations effectively.

At Booth, our distinguished faculty bring a unique blend of dedication, expertise, and passion to the classroom. In the three core AMP sessions, you’ll learn directly from world-renowned faculty who are leaders in their fields—offering research-driven insights and practical frameworks you can apply immediately.
Faculty teaching in the electives vary by course, and each elective is led by accomplished experts who bring specialized knowledge and diverse perspectives to enrich your learning experience. View electives for faculty in each elective.
Strengthen two critical components of successful leadership: self-awareness and the ability to read and motivate others. You’ll learn how to enhance your influence, improve your communication, leverage your unique strengths, and adapt with agility. You’ll gain insights into the drivers of high performance, and acquire techniques for learning quickly and effectively from your own experiences.
As a leader of your organization, learn how to develop organizational agility to strengthen competitive advantage. You’ll also acquire techniques to identify new opportunities, drive change, develop a results-driven culture, and mobilize your workforce to create value.
Explore how to balance your own interests, your company's interests, and the interests of the broader community, particularly in the context of today’s global economy. You will also have an opportunity to think deeply about your future plans and define your legacy as a leader.
AMP participants design part of their journey by selecting three electives that align with their personal growth and professional goals.
In addition to Chicago-based courses, some electives are offered online and at Booth's campuses in London and Hong Kong, giving you additional flexibility and the opportunity to broaden your perspective and network.
Individual electives are listed by category below.
Between sessions, you’ll work with an executive coach to strengthen your leadership. You’ll apply new skills at work and in class, with ongoing feedback from your coach and peers. This continuous, data-driven coaching and assessment reflects AMP’s culture of achieving rapid growth through experience.
Coaching includes:
"Healthgrades recently ranked us #1 in Maryland for Orthopedic and Spine Surgery—a milestone I credit in part to my participation in AMP. Since opening just over a year ago, our center has grown rapidly: merging three practices, expanding our footprint by 50%, and recruiting top surgeons, neurologists, and pain specialists."
—P. Justin Tortolani, MD, Director at the Spine Institute University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center and Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland Department of Orthopaedic Surgery
