Diversity - LGBT

Chicago Booth provides a supportive and welcoming environment for all students, including members of the LGBT community. Diversity Affairs offers resources and support to LGBT students.

Chicago Booth hosts and participates in various admissions-related events designed to identify and encourage talented LGBT prospective students to apply for admission to Chicago Booth. Events include Chicago Booth Live Diversity and Booth receptions for LGBT applicants.

We work closely with OUTreach to foster a more diverse environment at the University of Chicago. OUTreach is an active Chicago Booth student group working to advance social and professional opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender members of the Chicago Booth community. Membership includes students from both the full-time and part-time programs, and the group provides a great way for current students to build contacts with LGBT alumni and students at other business schools. Activities include participation in a variety of gay recruiting events with an assortment of firms in various industries and social events for personal and cultural enlightenment, including awareness events for the general MBA population, informational dinners for admitted students, and networking events with the University of Chicago gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.

Chicago Booth is proud to work in partnership with several organizations to identify and encourage talented LGBT prospective students to apply for admission to Chicago Booth, as well as to provide networking opportunities.
