The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is proud to host the third annual Rising Scholars conference. The event will gather a diverse group of PhD and postdoctoral students from across the country to present their research and interact with faculty from Chicago Booth and other institutions.

The conference will be held virtually on November 1 and November 2, 2022. The objectives of the conference are to help rising scholars gain research insights, valuable exposure, and faculty mentorship that will benefit them for years to come.

Chicago Booth strongly believes in the value of diversity (broadly defined) in the pursuit of our educational mission, and we therefore encourage participation from doctoral students and postdocs who bring to bear on the educational experience a diversity of perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds, including groups that historically have been underrepresented in business schools.

The Rising Scholars Conference originated at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2020 to support doctoral student and faculty diversity and was held at Harvard Business School in 2021.

Presenters will be notified by early October.

The full agenda and attendee registration for the conference will be released in the fall.
