Shell Companies in Singapore
Corporate Award

Swee Chen Goh, ’03 (AXP-2), is the chairman of Shell Companies in Singapore. Soon after earning her Booth degree, Goh joined the company as chief information officer and was quickly promoted to vice president of global IT services—a move that made her the first Asian woman to hold such a senior role. In that position, she helmed a $4 billion, three-year IT outsourcing program, the first of its scale in the oil and gas industry.

In her current role, she leads more than 3,000 employees in growing the business, strengthening Shell’s reputation, and making sure the company remains an active member of the Singaporean community. She has also either chaired or sat on the boards of several Shell joint ventures in China, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
