The community is unparalleled in its inclusivity and intellectual curiosity. The pay-it-forward culture is incredibly strong and genuine, compelling us new members of the Booth community to continue the tradition.
The research environment at Booth continues to be outstanding, with terrific colleagues and students (both PhD and MBA students). It has been a very productive research environment for me, and I am excited about the new initiatives that the school is exploring and implementing.
I have met countless wonderful, driven, smart and impressive peers, I've been excited by the real world applications the Booth classroom provides, and I have gained a deeper understanding of myself as a student and future leader.
I greatly appreciate all the support I have been receiving from Chicago Booth, including the financial support from our generous donors. This support has allowed me to remain focused on my academic work and conduct better research. It has also made Chicago Booth more appealing relative to peer institutions at a time when the city of Chicago has been struggling. Thank you.
There exists such a big support network to help a student navigate everything - the class consists of an incredible group of people who are going through it with you and willing to lend a hand. The second years and alumni alike really embody the pay-it-forward culture and I've ended up learning so much in such a little amount of time.
Simply put, being at Booth has brought a new excitement and I could not be more thankful. It is unbelievable that it has only been two months and I already have such strong feelings about my experience. It says a lot about the culture here at Booth.
