Evening MBA / Weekend MBA

The Evening and Weekend Programs allow students to continue working—in Chicago or around the United States—while getting an MBA.

Location

  • Downtown Chicago

Student profile

  • Evening and Weekend students represent more than 35 industries and 370 companies
  • Wide range of work experience, with the mid 80% range being 2–10 years
  • GMAT mid-80% range is 610–730, or equivalent GRE

Format

  • Flexible pace: 2.5–3 years on average, up to five years to complete.
  • Flexible curriculum: choose from more than 130 courses to tailor your MBA experience
  • Ability to take courses across programs

You Might Not Know

  • 70% of Weekend MBA students live outside Illinois and travel to Chicago each weekend for class.
  • The Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs have the same courses and faculty as the Full-Time MBA Program.
  • Most Evening and Weekend students seek to advance in their current company or industry.
  • As part of the Evening and Weekend MBA Programs, we have a program for those with 0–3 years of work experience: Chicago Business Fellows (CBF)

Executive MBA

The Executive MBA program allows senior business professionals moving to higher-level management or leadership roles to continue working while earning an MBA.

  • A senior manager or director with an average of 12–15 years of experience
  • Our students represent more than 28 different industries and come from more than 60 countries across the globe.

Format

  • Chicago program: classes meet every other Friday and Saturday over 21 months with five week-long residential sessions at all three locations; London and Hong Kong programs: classes take place in 16 week-long sessions of full-time classes
  • On all campuses, students join a dedicated, tight-knit cohort of classmates who will remain part of your global network throughout your career.

  • Our Executive MBA Program was established in 1943—the first MBA program of its kind in the world.
  • Regardless of the Executive MBA Program campus you choose, you spend a third of your time with students from Booth’s other two global campuses, building your international network.
