Biography

Anshuman Taneja is the Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer at GNC, where he leads the company’s global digital, product management, data, and technology functions in support of growth, modernization, and customer experience transformation. 

Previously, Taneja served as Chief Product Officer at Gap Inc., overseeing product management and digital platforms across a portfolio of iconic global brands. His career spans senior leadership roles in digital leadership, product management, and technology at organizations including Ahold Delhaize, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Walgreens, where he has led large-scale transformations. 

Across multiple organizations, Taneja has built and scaled product management functions from the ground up, establishing product-led operating models, scaling digital and data capabilities, and aligning technology strategy and execution with commercial outcomes. He has worked extensively at the intersection of strategy, commercial ownership, product, and technology in complex, consumer-facing businesses. 

Taneja holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School. In addition to his operating roles, he serves as an advisor to emerging technology companies and frequently engages with boards and executive teams on digital transformation and innovation.
