Assistant Professor of Marketing and Stevens Junior Faculty Fellow
Stephanie Smith studies the (in)consistencies of the decision-making process across different domains and decision targets (i.e. self vs. other). In her research, she uses eye tracking and computational modeling to better understand the decision process.
Smith earned a PhD in Decision Psychology from The Ohio State University, and holds a BA from St. Olaf College.
Prior to joining Booth in 2022, Smith was a postdoctoral scholar in Behavioral Decision Making at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Outside of academia and research, Smith loves to run/bike/hike/swim (not all at once) and is an avid traveler: 40+ U.S. states, 30+ countries (so far).
