Lil Mohan has a passion for bringing great technology products to life. He brings to his teaching a variety of experiences from his work at Amazon, Intel, Infosys, Motorola, Sun Microsystems, and two successful high tech startup companies: Junglee and Snapstick.
During this 22-year career, he and his teams have successfully brought to market several new products into the Digital Commerce, Mobile Apps & Devices, Telco Services, and Digital Media & Entertainment sectors. In addition, Mohan has provided thought leadership and nurtured successful high tech start-ups from inception and has proven expertise in marketing and selling to both corporate customers and consumers.
He is currently AVP for Products, Platforms & Solutions at Infosys, and also serves as the Global Head for Infosys’s Enterprise Mobility Consulting practice. Before Infosys, Mohan was Managing Director for Intel’s 4G wireless program in Emerging Markets, prior to which, he was VP of Business Strategy at Motorola's handset division.
Earlier, Mohan was General Manager of Amazon.com's mobile platform BU, where his team built the world’s first retail M-commerce application Amazon Anywhere, enabling customers to find and buy products on their mobile devices. Mohan has also been a partner at J.P. Morgan Partners, where he co-managed a venture fund focused on early-stage technology investments in emerging markets.
Mohan has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
