Lil Mohan is an entrepreneur and academician with a passion for bringing great technology products and services to life. He brings to his teaching classes a variety of experiences from his work at Amazon, Intel, Infosys, Motorola, and two successful high-tech startup companies: Junglee and Snapstick.
In his career so far, he and his teams have successfully brought to market several new products and services into the E & M-Commerce, Mobile Software, Digital Media & Entertainment, and Telco Services sectors. In addition, Lil has provided thought leadership and nurtured successful high tech. start-ups from inception and has proven expertise in selling to both corporate customers and consumers.
He currently heads Business Development at a mobile platform startup company. Also he is advising two other startups building innovative, new M-commerce technology products and services. Until recently, Lil was Global Head of Enterprise Mobility Consulting at Infosys Ltd. Before Infosys, Lil was Managing Director for Intel’s 4G wireless program in Emerging Markets, prior to which, he was VP of Business Strategy at Motorola's Mobility division.
Earlier, Lil was General Manager of Amazon's mobile platform BU, where his team built the world’s first retail M-commerce application Amazon Anywhere, enabling customers to find and buy products on their mobile devices. Lil has also been a partner at J.P. Morgan Partners Advisors, where he co-managed a venture fund focused on early-stage technology investments in emerging markets.
Lil has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, and a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
