Biography
Carlos Ganoza is an entrepreneur, senior product executive, and economist who has been working with AI since 2014, applying it to solve complex problems across different domains. He co-founded and scaled a machine learning company from a slide deck to a multinational operation, and later joined Wonolo—the leading staffing marketplace—through an acquisition, where he now serves as VP of Product, leading the product organization and AI initiatives. He has deep experience building AI-driven products in SaaS and marketplace models and across B2B and B2C.
Carlos is an Endeavor mentor, coaching founders from around the world on building technology products, leveraging AI, and achieving product–market fit. He also mentors entrepreneurs working on AI through the University of Chicago's Polsky Center. Recognized as one of Latin America’s Top 100 Innovators by Bloomberg, Carlos has received multiple awards for his work in developing high-impact AI products.
Carlos holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he specialized in economics. His career has spanned the public, private, and entrepreneurial sectors: he has served as Chief of Staff at the Peruvian Ministry of Finance, led Peru’s top business media company as CEO, and built and scaled AI products with meaningful social impact.
He has also co-authored two books on the Peruvian economy.
Carlos is originally from Peru and has been based in Los Angeles since 2021, where he continues to work at the intersection of technology, economics, and innovation. His passion lies in leveraging innovative ideas to build solutions that address important societal challenges.
