Biography

Dan Cremons is a former private equity investor and operator, and author of the bestseller, Winning Moves: 105 Proven Ways to Accelerate Value Creation in Private Equity-Backed Companies.

Cremons founded the advisory firm Accelera Partners in 2020 to help private equity leaders and search funds to accelerate what he calls “people-powered value creation” in their companies. Accelera does this by helping CEOs and their leadership teams develop their winning vision and strategy, develop a high-confidence value creation plan, and get the right people aboard to make that vision, strategy, and plan come to life. His expertise sits at the intersection of value creation and leadership.

Cremons is an active investor in search funds, and loves supporting the EtA leaders he backs in these same ways.

Cremons has been in the private equity arena since 2007, most recently with Alpine Investors—a firm known for its “people first” approach to private equity. Over 15 years in the space, he has led software, services, and online investments; served on PE boards; helped build out Alpine’s CEO-in-training program; and led within several private equity-backed companies as a CEO and CXO.

When Cremon's is not supporting private equity leaders and search funds, he enjoys endurance sports, kicking back on the nearest body of water, cheering on the Bears and Cubs, and chasing around his 2 young kids.
