Chicago Booth’s Part-Time MBA Program offers more than 40 student-led groups spanning academic, professional, social, leadership, and special-interest areas.

And every Part-Time MBA group is open to Evening and Weekend MBA students alike, regardless of which program you’re in.

Getting involved in a Part-Time MBA student club is where a lot of the real value of your MBA experience happens.

You can:

  • Build a professional network in the industry you’re targeting
  • Develop leadership skills through club and committee roles
  • Deepen your MBA experience through community and shared interests
  • Connect with classmates who share your background or perspective
  • Make enduring personal and professional relationships that outlast your MBA

Grow Your Network

These clubs can connect you with alumni and professionals in specific regions and industries—a direct line to people already working where you want to go next.

Develop Leadership Skills

Leadership development doesn’t have to take place in the classroom or wait until after graduation. Take on a formal role, or lead within any of the groups on this page. The opportunity is there either way.

Beyond Student Advisory Council, every group on this page offers its own leadership opportunities—club president, event chair, and committee roles—for students looking to build management experience during their MBA, not just after it.

Pursue Entrepreneurial Interests

For students building something of their own, or exploring what it takes to buy and run a business, these groups connect you with the investor and founder community around Booth.

Find Community and Belonging

Booth’s Part-Time MBA community includes groups built around shared identity and experience, spaces where you can find people who understand exactly where you’re coming from.

Connect Through Shared Interests

Your MBA doesn’t have to be all business. These groups exist to make sure the rest of your life—fitness, food, creativity, and everything in between—has a place at Booth too.
