Michelle Liem, MBA '89, is chair and chief executive officer of Nuri Holdings, an investment holding company in Singapore. She is director of several companies in the Nuri Group, including Giti Tire, a leading tire company with manufacturing plants in the US, Indonesia, and China; Tuan Sing Holdings, a real estate developer listed on the Singapore Exchange; and Ardent Investment Partners, which invests in various sectors including technology and healthcare. The Nuri Group is also developing Kura Kura Bali, an eco-island with special economic zone status in Bali, Indonesia.

Liem was conferred the Public Service Medal and Public Service Star by the President of Singapore in 2016 and 2025, respectively. She previously served as honorary consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Singapore from 2014 to 2025 and was conferred the Officer of the Order of Merit by HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg in 2022. Liem is on the board of SingHealth Fund, Singapore's largest public healthcare group. She is co-chair of the Singapore LSE Trust, Conservation International Advisory Council Asia-Pacific, a member of Stanford University International Advisory Council – Asia, and a member of the Stanford School of Engineering Asia Advisory Council. Liem is also a member of the Council on Chicago Booth, as well as its Global Leaders Group in Asia.

She earned a BS in economics degree from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
