Brown Bag Presentation with Molly Schnell

Molly Schnell serves as Assistant Professor within the Department of Economics at the Northwestern University. Her research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of provider behavior, specifically in regards to the opioid crisis, and her more recent work has shed light on the economic impact of school shootings.

She will be presenting a new paper titled "Drivers of Racial Differences in C-Sections" (joint with Adriana Corredor-Waldron and Janet Currie).

The Healthcare Analytics Laboratory recruits PhD students, MD students, residents, and MBA students with significant content expertise in healthcare to join the Lab as mentors, research assistants, and content experts.

Healthcare Fellowship

The Booth Healthcare Fellowship is awarded each year to select incoming Full-Time MBA students with backgrounds in a care provider role (e.g. MD, RN, Social work in a healthcare setting).

The aim of the program is to provide tuition support, foster community among the Fellows, and provide additional access or support. Such areas of support include one-on-one conversations with distinguished speakers at events sponsored or co-sponsored by the Healthcare Initiative, covered fees for the annual Booth student-led Healthcare Conference and more programming.
