Undergraduate school/major: I attended Darmstadt University of Technology, where I received a master's in financial mathematics.

Concentrations: International business and finance.

Activities: Member of the European Business Group, Chicago Asia Pacific Group, Investment Banking Group, Private Equity Group, and Epicurean Club.

Career plans: I am recruiting for investment banking and private equity in Singapore and Europe.

Why did you choose to apply to and attend Booth? I chose Booth for three main reasons. First, the strong reputation and great network of Booth in finance. Furthermore, I enjoy the flexible curriculum. This gives me already in my first year the possibility to take advanced finance courses which help me to prepare for my internship. Finally, Booth has amazing Career Services which prepares us very well for recruiting. As I am recruiting outside the US I appreciate that there is employment relation staff of Booth located in London and Hong Kong who provide us potential job opportunities in Europe and Asia.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Intense, supportive, and fun.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? There are so many good restaurants in Chicago one should try.

Aakash Jain GermanyUndergraduate school/major: I attended Jacobs University in Germany, where I received a degree in electrical engineering and computer science.

Concentrations: Accounting and finance.

Activities: Member of the Investment Banking Group, the Dean's Student Admissions Committee, the Public Speaking and Communications Group, and the Booth Technology Group.

Career plans: I am recruiting for technology investment banking.

Why did you choose to apply to and attend Booth? My first interaction with Booth was at the information session on the London campus. I was immediately impressed by not only the quality of the presentation which highlighted the Booth faculty and academics, and the personable nature of the alumni present. This notion was further strengthened as the list of Booth students and alumni among my close friends and associates grew. It was their advice and guidance that convinced me of the strength of the Booth brand, making it my top choice business school.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Intense, thought-provoking, and fun.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? A long run along the Chicago river and the lakefront.

Ask me about...: Starting business school after several years of work experience, and a spouse who is still weighing the pros and cons of quitting her job and moving to Chicago to join me.

Tomas GuevaraUndergraduate school/major: I attended Universidad Catolica Argentina and majored in Business Administration.  I also studied at Wirtschaft Universitat Tubingen in Germany for a semester.

Concentrations: Strategic Management, Finance and Marketing.

Activities: Member of the European Business Group, Management Consulting Group, Latin American Business Group and the Soccer Club.

Career plans: I am recruiting for consulting.

Why did you choose to apply to and attend Booth? Chicago Booth was the school I had the best fit with. I visited in October 2012 and stayed at a second year's place. All the people I met were amazing, and I really liked the culture of the University. The flexible curriculum, the faculty, career services and the city were also very important.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Exciting, rewarding and life-changing.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? I would recommend going to visit the neighborhoods of Lincoln Park and Old Town. If you have the chance, go to a comedy show at the Second City show and to different neighborhoods to try out different food.
