Date: February 17, 2023

Time: 12:00-1:00 pm

Location: Harper Center C25

In celebration of the 300th birthday of Adam Smith and 125 years of Chicago Booth, please join us for a conversation with Sam Peltzman, a faculty member at the university since 1973 and one of the senior statesmen of the Chicago School. We will discuss the history of the Chicago School of Economics with someone who was there through it all, reflect on commonalities between Adam Smith's thinking and the Chicago school, and common public misunderstandings of each. The conversation will be moderated by IGM Co-Director Eric Budish.

Lunch will be provided.
