Experimental TheatreDesigned with the highly-engaged professional in mind, our online minicourses are open-enrollment.
Minicourses meet live for four one-hour sessions over the course of a month, and all sessions are recorded, allowing you to learn with others or on your own schedule.

Lisa Stefanac, MBA '09, Clinical Professor of Leadership, is Co-Founder and Partner of KSE Leadership, a privately held leadership consulting firm, and Co-Founder and Partner of Assessing in Action, a leadership and team effectiveness tools business. She has focused her work on leadership development, team effectiveness, and talent management at clients ranging from high growth startups to many of the largest companies in the world and across several industries including retail, technology, oil & gas, and digital health.
Prior to co-founding KSE and Assessing in Action, Stefanac was managing director at the Kantor Institute, a team development consultancy in Cambridge, MA. She began her organizational change consulting career at Dialogos International LLC, and she created negotiation and conflict management resolution training programs through Insight Partners.
Before her clinical associate professor position at Booth, Stefanac was on staff at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she has facilitated interpersonal dynamics, coaching and mentoring, and other MBA and professional-level courses. She has also taught management programs offered through Harthill UK, the University of Chicago, and Harvard University.
Stefanac earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She received the university’s Global Awareness Award and the Herman Family Fellowship, an award recognizing high-potential women entrepreneurs. Stefanac graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with a BA in English literature.
An ex-competitive gymnast and marathon runner who climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro — Africa’s highest peak — Stefanac is a visionary who can help individuals surpass their perceived limits.
Swati Bharteey-Buck, MBA '95, Adjunct Associate Professor of Leadership, is co-founder of LeaderStages LLC, and her thirty years of business experience includes executive coaching, high-impact leadership programs, intercultural awareness, and people strategy.
Her executive level positions at well-respected companies such as General Electric, The William Wrigley Jr. Company, and Deloitte, have ranged from general management and corporate strategy to culture change and the design and implementation of on-time, in-budget, global initiatives. Swati has held executive level positions in global human resources, consulting, information technology, and corporate strategy.
Swati holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Swati is also deeply committed to giving back to her community and coaches the Executive Directors and key leaders of numerous non-profits focused on improving access to services and education for disadvantaged populations. Swati also speaks and teaches on the topic of Inclusion and has been featured in various panels and courses.
Swati is currently working on a women's fiction novel.
We offer one minicourse per academic quarter.
Yes, our minicourses are open-enrollment; we welcome anyone who is interested in becoming a more effective leader.
Yes, it is easy to catch up on a session or even take the entire minicourse asynchronously. We record each class meeting and post it to the course site shortly thereafter. We encourage you to attend live sessions whenever possible to engage in real-time interactions with faculty and classmates.
