Career Aspirations
In the short term, I want to develop and implement solutions within social service agencies and organizations to tackle the constant challenge of resource scarcity from a business perspective. I believe this can be achieved by helping agencies and organizations conquer management and operational challenges that seem to cut significantly into how well they are able to function. In the long term, I would like to be able to be in a position to guide strategy such that agencies and organizations can work better collectively to achieve the greatest possible social impact.
Why an MBA?
In order to complement the interpersonal effectiveness that I have developed as a clinical social worker, I have chosen to pursue my MBA so that I can round out my analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, which are crucial to making the most informed decisions possible to drive change and social impact. I also believe that an MBA will challenge me to grow as an individual and as a leader, as well as open up my mind to think about problems and solutions in more innovative ways.
