"In my daily work, I really focused on my team and our culture and our organization, and really wasn't taking the time to invest in myself," says Jacky Cross, a leader of digital and organizational transformation and past participant in Chicago Booth's Advanced Management Program (AMP).
"Being able to pour into myself, so I could go back and pour into others, whether it be at work, or at home, or in my community, it's been really empowering," she says.
Faculty see that transformation too. "I'm seeing more courage, courage in the sense of I don't have to be a spectator," says Harry L. Davis, Roger L. and Rachel M. Goetz Distinguished Service Professor of Creative Management Emeritus. "We can all make a difference. And the question is, what kind of a difference do I want to make, and why is it important?"
That combination of personal and professional growth and leadership courage is at the heart of the AMP. There are no formulas or silver bullets. Instead, the program teaches senior leaders how to think and how to translate knowledge into action. Many participants are surprised by how much it changes the way they see themselves. They leave more resilient, capable, and agile, and connected to a cohort of peers across companies and industries.
AMP equips senior executives to strengthen analytical decision-making, broaden their functional expertise, and lead with greater enterprise impact. This 6-week program combines three week-long core sessions in leadership, a choice of electives across strategy, finance, AI, leadership, and innovation, and personalized coaching. With a flexible schedule, you can start any time of year. Upon completion, you'll join Booth's alumni network of more than 61,000 leaders in 120 countries.
