Meet Our Team
Director of Public Relations and Communications
Lesley leads all public relations and communications efforts for Booth’s campuses in North America (Chicago), Europe (London), and Asia (Hong Kong). Her responsibilities include internal and external communications, crisis and reputation management, executive and channel management, and cross-unit integration.
Prior to joining Booth, Lesley was vice president of corporate communications at GLP, a global investment manager specializing in logistics and other related technology. She began her career in public relations at top-ranked global agencies, working on a variety of iconic brands, including McDonald’s, Energizer, and ConAgra Foods. In addition, Lesley spent 10 years at General Growth Properties (GGP) as the in-house corporate communications lead, and worked at Navy Pier overseeing the PR and digital engagement department.
Associate Director of Public Relations and Communications
Marielle helps oversee both internal and external communications, with particular focus on Booth’s campuses in North America and Asia. Her responsibilities include media relations, crisis and emergency communications, and other content-related PR and marketing initiatives promoting the school.
Over the past decade, Marielle has held a number of leadership positions in communications, including press secretary for Chicago Public Schools, assistant press secretary in the Office of the Governor of Illinois, and as the director of public affairs for the University of Chicago. Most recently, Marielle took on the task of communications director for the Mayor of Chicago’s first 100 days in office, ensuring communications alignment between all city departments and agencies.
