Ben leads AI value creation initiatives across a portfolio of mid‑market firms, with a focus on industrial and software sectors. He brings more than a decade of experience in artificial intelligence. Ben began his career as an AI Product Manager at Microsoft before co‑founding Actuate, a computer vision startup specializing in security‑camera automation. As CTO, he guided Actuate from the Chicago Booth New Venture Challenge through its Series B financing. He later joined JPMorgan Chase, where he led AI and data strategy for the firm’s real estate organization. Since leaving JPMC in 2023, Ben has partnered with C‑suite leaders to design and implement AI transformation programs across their enterprises.
Ben holds an MBA with concentrations in Econometrics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BA in Economics, German, and Chinese from Bowdoin College. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a licensed ski instructor.
