in the Chicago Area

The third-annual "Political Economy in the Chicago Area" conference (PECA) took place at Gleacher Center on October 9, 2009. The idea of the conference is to bring together researchers in political economy from the greater Chicago area, present papers, share ideas, and foster a tighter research community. The conference is intended for rigorous theoretical, empirical, and experimental work in the field of political economy.
The one-day conference was hosted by the Ford Motor Company for Global Citizenship at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and co-sponsored by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business' Initiative on Global Markets and the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy's Program on Political Institutions.
