In today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment, the global business landscape’s rapid change has become the new normal. There are new organizational structures, an influx of new ventures and startups, and new products and services from traditional organizations. It can be tempting to fall back into a conventional organizational mindset as one approaches their competitive strategy. However, competing successfully requires incorporating VUCA preparedness into corporate strategic initiatives and thinking like an entrepreneur by identifying new market opportunities.
In this program, you'll gain the tools to identify your organization's competitive strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning to combat competition. You'll discover how to analyze market patterns, think entrepreneurial by preparing your organization for VUCA, and identify what makes your organization great for a sustainable competitive advantage.

Our live-online programs are delivered in a synchronous format where you'll engage with faculty, industry leaders, and a global set of peers in an interactive, high-impact virtual environment. Often, these programs blend live sessions with activities or projects, and readings to deepen one's understanding of the materials. The benefit to this format is that you'll receive Booth's rigorous content in short, digestible sessions held multiple times weekly and span over a few weeks.
Participants should expect to commit a total of 4-6 hours per week to this program.
This program includes four interactive, live-online sessions. Live-Sessions are held from 9 am-11 am CT on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This program includes a live-virtual networking session, where participants will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the cohort and share their work experience, as well as their most significant business challenge they are currently facing. Booth team members will host these forums, and will help continue post live-forum discussions onto the program's online discussion boards.
This program will benefit mid- to senior-level executives responsible for identifying new profitable opportunities, developing strategies to combat competition, and/or seeking to launch new products/services. In addition, executives from startups and new ventures will find this program beneficial.

Greg Bunch draws on a wealth of experience as an entrepreneur, manager, consultant, alderman, and teacher. He is the founder of Masterplan International Corporation, a strategy consulting firm. He was also a partner at Brandtrust, a brand strategy consultancy. Greg co-founded a healthcare software start-up in the Bay Area. He has served on corporate boards for financial services, healthcare, retail, franchising and marketing firms.
He works with Fortune 50 companies, family businesses and start-ups in the areas of innovation and strategy. He has worked with a broad array of companies including Abbott Labs, American Express, Danaher, Dover, ETS, Harley-Davidson, Hewlett-Packard, Kimberly-Clark, McDonalds, PepsiCo, State Farm and Yum! Brands.
Greg was an alderman in the City of West Chicago, serving on the infrastructure, public safety and development committees.
Greg has lectured nationally and internationally on topics related to strategy, creating customers, and innovation. He earned a bachelor's degree from Wheaton College in philosophy and an MDiv from Harvard University.
