Michael Gill is an AI and Data Product executive who has led teams across tech, financial services, insurance, and consumer products. Currently, he serves on the advisory boards of HILOS (generative AI and design for on-demand manufacturing) and Modal (enterprise edtech for AI, data science, and data products). He has served as a Chief Data Analytics Officer at multiple insurance companies, headed Global Product Analytics and Data Science at Nike, and was a Global Strategist in the Chairman's Office at Samsung, where he headed the Global Financial Services Practice Group. Additionally, he helped lead early stage startups in Silicon Valley, leading strategy and product management at early-stage companies that shipped AI and data products across risk management, intellectual property, and retail optimization. He started his career at BlackRock, working as a quant in the market neutral hedge fund group, during which time he was the point person for leveraging many finance innovations that emerged from the University of Chicago, including the Center for the Security Prices (CRSP) database and Fama's three-factor model. He earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree from Duke University.
