Prepare for MBA: Dougan Scholars provides an incredible foundation for a future Booth MBA by incorporating undergraduates directly into the Booth community. It was really cool to learn how to use the many resources available to Booth students. The Booth professors I had significantly changed the way I think and approach problems in business and in the world.
Favorite Booth course: Entrepreneurial Finance and Private Equity with professor Steven Kaplan broadened how I think about finance in an entrepreneurial setting. The way private equity professionals and portfolio company CEOs flew to Chicago to speak for almost every class was the best combination of practical and academic learning I have ever experienced.
Favorite Chicago Experience: Crossing the finish line after running my first marathon in Chicago. Raising $3,000 for the American Cancer Society made the run very meaningful!
