Students in the College are limited to six 300-level professional school course registrations (whether or not the courses are completed), and only four may be counted toward the 42 credits required in an undergraduate program. Therefore, Dougan Scholars can take a maximum of six unique MBA-level Booth courses: all six courses may be counted toward the credits required to graduate.
For more information, visit: http://college.uchicago.edu/academics/graduate-and-professional-school-courses and consult with your academic adviser.
Note that Dougan Scholars may count a maximum of two College-level sections towards their Dougan Scholars course requirements, if taken prior to their enrollment in the program. If there is an available MBA-level section, that is the course you should plan to take, as many College-level sections may not count as pre-requisites for higher-level Booth sections, thereby limiting the electives you may enroll in. For 200-level professional school courses, the Dean of Students Office will no longer require a Professional School Course Petition Form to be completed. These courses will be available for the normal online pre-registration and for add/drop, and they will not count towards the limit of six professional school courses.
