Event Details
The next few years promise to be exciting for biotech innovators in Chicago. Last spring, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced plans to establish a biotech hub in the city, in partnership with leading institutions in the Chicago area, including the University of Chicago. This October, the University of Chicago unveiled designs to launch, in partnership with Argonne National Laboratories, a 25,000 square biotech incubator.
Given Chicago's position as an emerging biotechnology cluster and the University's commitment to this developing industry, Chicago Booth is hosting a panel discussion and networking night with the city's leading movers and funding the industry. Topics for discussion include but are not limited to new funding models and how leaders in the community are accelerating the biotechnology industry. This candid presentation will bring together experienced visionaries in our region for an interactive discussion.
