For the past 13 years, Mr. Dean has lived in China. He is President & Managing Director and a principal at BDA, which he originally joined in 1999. Ted is also a co-founder of Americans Promoting Study Abroad, a Washington, DC based non-profit that has brought public high school students from the US to Beijing since 2008. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an honors BA in History from Yale University. Ted also studied at Nankai University in Tianjin and Beijing Normal University.
AmCham-China is a non-partisan and independent nonprofit organization representing the interests of some 2,600 companies and individuals doing business throughout China. Formally recognized by China's Ministry of Civil Affairs in 1991, AmCham-China is the leader at promoting American business interests in China.
