The Private Equity Group and the Polsky Center are delighted to host the 11th annual Private Equity Conference at the InterContinental Chicago. The event aims to provide high value to private equity practitioners by combining knowledge from both the industry and academia that would be hard to find in any other setting.
Event Details
The Chicago Booth Private Equity Conference is one of the premier private equity conferences in the region. Each year, it brings together financiers, students, and entrepreneurs to network and share insights into the dynamics of investing in a constantly changing economy. Launched in 2002, the conference allows private equity professionals in Chicago and the greater Midwest region to establish and continue a dialogue with peers in the industry, promote their work, and grow their networks. Last year's conference was the largest yet, drawing professionals from over 100 firms and approximately 400 attendees.
This year's conference is themed "Expanding Private Equity beyond Traditional Models" and will include keynote speakers Glenn Hutchins of Silver Lake and Steve Taslitz of Sterling Partners, as well as interactive panels with industry experts on the following tentative topics: Fundraising, Creating Value through Active Ownership and Operational Improvement, Beyond Traditional Exit Strategies, Creative Deal Structuring, and more yet to be announced.
