Asif Khan, '03, the cofounder of Caremerge, is one of the recent entrepreneurship success stories from Chicago Booth. Caremerge is the proud winner of Chicago Innovation Award for 2014.
Caremerge offers families a unique way to share information with care providers such as hospitals, physicians, ACOs (which provide coordinated care to Medicare patients), and managed care organizations. The company uses HIPAA-compliant and secure web and mobile apps to enable this sort of communication.
Caremerge announced $4 million in new funding in early 2015, following a $1.8 million round 18 months ago, strengthening their position in the health care industry. The round was led by Cambia Health Solutions.
