Please join us for the third installment of our Persuasion & Negotiation event series: Situation Analysis and Conflict Resolution with Olivier Lopez, '10, partner at Alister Avocats and lecturer at the University of Montpellier. Moderated by Greg Nelson, AB'74, this role playing workshop will allow you to take part in a series of hands-on, multi-variable negotiation exercises. Building on our earlier workshop, this session enable you to further develop your conceptual skills and gain a better understanding of the psychological process underlying the judgment of negotiators. The learning experience will be a mix of live role play exercises and discussions about the concepts of negotiation theory encountered during the exercises. Space is limited. Even though enrollment preference will be given to previous attendees of our introduction to negotiation workshops, some seats will be available for new participants interested in these topics.

Olivier Lopez, '10 is a partner at Alister, a law firm where he works with and advises entrepreneurs, corporations and investment funds on M&A, restructuring, joint ventures and venture capital investments.

A graduate of both the Montpellier law school (Master of Law) and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA), when Olivier is not advising clients, he teaches Negotiation and Venture Capital at the University of Montpellier.

Olivier has extensive M&A negotiation experience, acquired for the past eleven years while working with the M&A teams of BNP Paribas, Arthur Andersen/Ernst & Young, Norton Rose LLP and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
