Event Details

Over the next few years ECB intends to create a true single regulatory zone, where capital and liquidity can flow freely across borders. If Banking Union does occur, it could potentially have positive implications for Eurozone banks; however, as of today, uncertainty still exists as to the final outcomes and the tangible benefits and or risks which may be posed. Dr. Santoni will present an insightful look at the potential Banking Union, covering issues including large divergences in banks' ROAs and CoEs, M&A activity as well as a conclusion as to whether we should be investing in European banks now, which generally act as a precursor for European equities.
