The Chicago Booth Alumni Club of India is excited to announce its first ever Pan-India Booth Alumni Retreat, which is being held in Delhi, the weekend of Oct 20-21.
Event Details
This year we are looking to get alumni from across India together in one city to help forge friendships, build a stronger network and maybe even plant a business idea or two through 'paper napkin' conversations! Styled like a corporate retreat the event will focus on team building within the Booth community.
Speaking at the retreat will be:
Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India
Adil Zainulbhai, Managing Director, McKinsey & Company, India
Prof. Dipesh Chakrabarty, Department of History, The University of Chicago
We have also organized facilitated break out sessions for alums to get to know each other better with lots of "Liquidity Preference Functions" in the evening.
The event will be hosted at Stellar Gymkhana Club (www.stellargym.co.in). We are trying to raise full sponsorship for the event so that the cost per participant is nominal (other than air-fare). Alumni traveling to Delhi are requested to book their own flight tickets well in advance.
Further details about the event will be sent out to alums who have submitted their registration form.
