Executive-in-Residence Program Topics: Understanding Risk Management and Its Many Forms. Creating a Collaborative, Team Oriented Approach with Clients and Industry Leaders. How Board/Volunteer Investment Furthers Personal and Professional Career Interests. Mr. Curnutt will conduct small group coaching sessions (maximum of four participants) on the topics noted above. The topics of each session are dependent upon the RSVPs. Coaching Sessions will take place between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12th. The Executive-in-Residence Program is not a presentation. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 9th by 9 a.m. CST and is processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dean Curnutt is Founder and CEO of Macro Risk Advisors LLC (MRA), an independent derivatives strategy and transaction execution firm. The company specializes in providing financial market intelligence to institutional investors including large hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds and money managers. The firm’s mission is to help its clients achieve superior investment results by providing valuable market insight and efficient transaction execution. MRA is a FINRA registered Broker/Dealer. Dean is asked to appear regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg to discuss his market outlook. He is frequently quoted in the financial press and has presented on financial topics at the University of Chicago, the New York Society of Securities Analysts, the CBOE Risk Management Conference and Risk Institute. In 2007 he was invited and appeared as the first derivatives panelist at the Barron’s Art of Successful Investing Conference. Until January 2008, Dean was Managing Director and Head of Equity Salestrading at Banc of America Securities where he was a member of the Global Equities Management Team that set direction for the division. His team consisted of 150 sales professionals from program trading, electronic trading, cash, risk arbitrage, equity derivatives, and convertible bonds. Dean also was a member of the Global Equities Management Team that set strategic direction for the division. Under his direction, the equity derivatives team was ranked first in overall listed option market share in 2007 and was named “2005 US Equity Derivatives House of the Year” by Derivatives Week. Dean joined Banc of America Securities in March 2001. He previously worked at Lehman Brothers in structured equity derivative products where his focus was on tailoring OTC derivative solutions for hedge funds and high net worth individuals. Dean holds an MBA in analytical finance with highest honors from the University of Chicago where he received the Citibank Award for best performance in finance. He received a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from St. John’s University. Dean is active in charitable organizations including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Harlem Children’s Zone, and the Leukemia Society. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Jericho Project, a New York City based charity that provides a holistic solution to homelessness and issues affecting Veterans. Dean lives in New York City with his wife, two sons and daughter.
