Strengthen your Booth bonds on a day trip to Champagne!
Event Details
The Chicago Booth Women's Network of London invites you to a day trip to Champagne.
The trip will start in the morning from a central location in Paris where we will meet our Champagne expert, Tanisha Townsend or Girl Meets Glass, and board our private luxury chauffered coach to Champagne. During the ride, we will get a crash course in how women are leading the production of Champagne in France from Tanisha.
During our trip we will visit 3 woman-led Champagne houses, and of course we will be tasting all of the Champagne these wonderful women are producing!
Our trip will include a picnic lunch including with time to visit the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay.
Once we have drank as much Champagne as possible, and purchased bottles to take home with us, we will return to Paris via our chauffered coach where we can continue enjoying our weekend in Paris.

Tanisha Townsend is an award winning wine expert. Orginally from Chicago, Tanisha currently lives in Paris, France where she is the founder of Girl Meets Glass, which is a wine lifestyle and education agency.
Insightful and educational, Tanisha aims to empower individuals with an advanced knowledge of wine & spirits in order to build confidence in their tastes and make choices as a better informed consumer. She holds the WSET Level 3, Certified Specialist of Wine, Certified Specialist of Spirits and French Wine Scholar certifications.
