As Regional Director, Executive Senior Vice President of Ruder Finn Asia, Elan SHOU oversees all agency operations and provides expert insight, strategic counsel and communications support to clients throughout the entire region.
Elan began her Ruder Finn tenure in Shanghai where she headed RF Shanghai office from 2004-2008. After a short stint away, she rejoined Ruder Finn China as Managing Director of Training and Offering in 2010. She was then promoted to Managing Director and Senior Vice President of RF China in 2011 and grew to MD and SVP of RF Greater China in 2012. In 2016, Elan was further promoted to MD and Executive Senior President of RF Greater China.
With more than 18 years of experience in the public relations industry, Elan is a leading expert in reputation management, brand building and crisis communications. She has provided strategic consultation and led major communications programs for clients including AT&T, Bayer, Volkswagen China, Michelin, Bosch, Carrier, Disney, DHL and Warner Bros., to name a few. She has also guided many brands and companies in entering the China market through highly successful communications campaigns.
