Event Details

We will have a section reserved for our alumni on the stadium's large party deck. Attendees can alternate between watching the game from the rows of seats or can stand in the open area behind the seats, where they enjoy the open buffet and the opportunity to stand and easily mingle with fellow alumni.

Get in town whenever you would like that game weekend, because there is so much to do in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe/Mesa area – from enjoying five star resorts, spas and shopping to enjoying a variety of excellent meals, beautiful desert scenery, and a wide variety of recreation activities that could include anything from mountain biking to hot air ballooning). No matter how you spend your getaway weekend, plan to meet us at Sloan Park on Sunday for the 1:05 p.m. game time.

In mid January, we will send a survey to the confirmed event registrants to see when they plan to arrive in town and to determine if there is interest in meeting for a group dinner on Saturday night, perhaps followed by country dancing while others might prefer going to a local casino. Maybe some folks would like to make a day trip to enjoy the beautiful red rocks and mystical vortexes in Sedona (https://visitsedona.com/) on Saturday. Still others might want to get a group together for golfing at one of the outstanding golf courses in Scottsdale.

Your local alumni in Phoenix will be happy to supply a list of suggested restaurants, golf resorts, preferred hotels, and activities for out-of-state alumni to consider as you make your travel plans.

We hope to see as many of you as possible in Phoenix!
