We will study Donald J. Trump's negotiation style, evaluate its effectiveness and discuss techniques to deal with counterparts who display a provocative behavior. A role-playing exercise will immerse participants in a real world inspired case specifically developed for the occasion and designed to evidence the advantages and weaknesses of a provocative behavior in negotiations.
Olivier Lopez has been teaching negotiation since 2010 (Faculté de Droit de Montpellier 2010-2015, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne 2016-2019) and has been practicing high stake negotiations daily as a M&A lawyer since 2002. Olivier Lopez holds a Masters of Laws from Montpellier and a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
