Event Details

At our annual Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Chicago meeting, Linda Ginzel will join as the featured speaker to introduce her new book, Choosing Leadership. Choosing Leadership will debunk common myths about leaders and encourage you to follow a personalized path to decide when to manage and when to lead. Choosing Leadership puts the responsibility for personal growth and professional development in your own hands. It gives you the opportunity to answer tough questions of yourself, process your own life lessons, reflect on your own experiences, and change your future.

Professor Ginzel has been choosing leadership long before she decided to write this book. From pioneering the volunteer student council at Gorman Junior High School in Colorado Springs, establishing the first Psi Chi Chapter at Denver's Metropolitan State College, creating the business of customized executive education at the Chicago's Booth School of Business and founding the influential nonprofit organization KID. Her mission is to guide others in how to be wiser, younger.

The meeting will also feature an update on Chicago Booth including recent successes and upcoming priorities and a vote on the new roster of the CBAC board.
