Jeff Wong (Speaker)
Global, Chief Innovation Officer, Ernst & Young

Jeff is responsible for Innovation at EY. His role is to leverage his experience working in technology in Silicon Valley to challenge everything, from the way EY operates internally to how we deliver services to our clients. Jeff works across the entire organization to help identify, share and scale the best ideas. Additionally, part of the Global Innovation team's remit is to research and explore new technologies.

Previous Experience

Jeff joined EY in 2015 and brings deep experience across strategy, investing and building new ventures globally. Throughout his career, he built new businesses across a variety of concepts, including local commerce, B2B exchanges, services, mobile and big data.

His 20-year career includes roles at the Boston Consulting Group, JAFCO America Ventures and J.P. Morgan Partners. From 2005–2015, Jeff was with eBay and held a number of roles including serving as the founder and senior director of eBay's Business Incubation Group, which was responsible for building new startups for eBay Marketplaces.

Credentials

Jeff sits on the Oxford Foundry Board, Oxford University and is member of The World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has an AB in Economics, a Master in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and an MBA all from Stanford University. Jeff speaks frequently at events and with the media on the topics of innovation, disruptive technologies and the future of work.

Lindsey Lyman (Moderator)
Clinical Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, Chicago Booth

Lindsey Lyman is the founder of Growth Studios, an innovation consultancy that helps companies build profitable new businesses. Through her work as a practitioner, Lindsey also helps executives become stronger innovation leaders and helps organizations build innovation capabilities. She consults with leading design firms, consulting firms, large and small companies, and entrepreneurs to identify unique growth opportunities and to build commercially viable new products, services, and business models.

Prior to founding Growth Studios, Lindsey spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company, where she helped build McKinsey's global innovation practice and co-developed McKinsey's Innovation Executive Education program. At McKinsey, Lindsey served Global Fortune 100 Asian, European, and North American clients on innovation topics ranging from large-scale innovation transformations, to embedding capabilities in user-centered design and product development. Lindsey currently serves as an External Advisor to McKinsey, focused on Product Development and Innovation.

Lindsey has a deep passion for teaching and coaching, which translates to her work both in the classroom and in the field. Lindsey holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she graduated with highest distinction.
