This explanation is done with a two-minute oral 'elevator story' and a written handbill, which is different than a resume. A resume focuses on what one has done; a handbill focuses on what one wants to do.
Contact Karl Buschmann if you need to construct a handbill and he will email you an explanation.
The group will meet monthly and alternate between Saturdays and weekdays. You will need to bring 50 copies of your handbill and to be prepared to give and to receive assistance.
The group is open to Booth alumni and students. We are not able to accommodate non-Booth participants at this time.
Past meetings have drawn alumni and students, both late and early career job seekers, and participants with a broad background both by function and industry. Again, it’s the power of the network. While supported by the Career Services and the Alumni Affairs offices, the group is neither owned nor driven by them.
Career Services has a wide range of resources available to alumni. See http://career.ChicagoBooth.edu. Click on Alumni and download the Career Services for Alumni pdf.
