Networking and dinner conversation event bringing together young professionals in real estate industry including Booth alumni, prospective students and other young professionals who are interested in participating in our Booth real estate community.

The following three speakers have been invited and each speaker will be discussing projects he or she is currently working on, provide views on their local market and present their career path (how they arrived at where they are in their career).

  • Christine Blaas
    Christine has 25 years of experience across all sectors of the real estate industry. She holds an MSc in Architecture and a BA in Education from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is currently working on her PhD at the Università IUAV di Venezia writing her dissertation on the subject of complexity, fintec and design. She also runs her own real estate development and consuting firm with offices in Milan and Zug (Switzerland).
  • Marine Duchesne
    Marine has 5 years of experience in the hotel sector ranging from hotel valuation, development feasibility and operations. She's currently an Associate Director in the Christie & Co advisory group. Prior to Christie, she was in the Corporate Finance team at InterContinental Hotels Group. She holds an MSc in Real Estate from Cass Business School and an MSc in Finance from Universite Paris Dauphine.
  • Will Brewster
    Will has 5 years' real estate experience. Prior to DRC Capital LLP, he was an Associate in Clifford Chance's Real Estate Debt Finance group in London acting for both lenders and borrowers. At DRC, he is part of the investment team and has executed numerous mezzanine and senior debt transactions across UK, Ireland, Netherland, France, Spain and Italy. Will holds an MA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge.
