Driving Directions:

From the North:

 

  • Take I-95 SOUTH
  • Take EXIT 1A (The last exit before I-95 stops and becomes South Dixie Highway.) Look for brown highway recreation signage referring to Key Biscayne, Rickenbacker Causeway, Beaches, Miami Seaquarium and State Parks, etc.
  • Continue through 2 more lighted intersections to the Rickenbacker Causeway and Toll Plaza. There will be a Causeway Toll. You will go over 2 bridges. You are now on Crandon Boulevard and need to be in the left lane.
  • Continue until you enter the park. (NOTE: There is a $6 per car/truck/SUV fee on the weekends.)
  • Follow signs to pavilion #4.

 

From the South:

  • Take US – 1 North
  • Take the US – 1 North ramp toward Brickell Avenue
  • Turn Right on Rickenbacker Causeway and Toll Plaza. There will be a Causeway Toll.
  • You will go over 2 bridges.
  • You are now on Crandon Boulevard and need to be in the left lane.
  • Continue until you enter the park. (NOTE: There is a $6 per car/truck/SUV fee on the weekends.)
  • Follow signs to Pavilion #4.

Event Details

Crandon Park's beautiful two-mile beach is consistently named among the top ten beaches in the nation. It is one of the most popular recreation destinations in all of Miami-Dade County, enjoyed by millions of residents and tourists each year. The beach is celebrated for its pristine sand, calm water, winding promenade, concession stands, and multiple picnic areas with tables and grills. Near the beach is Crandon's Family Amusement Center. Crandon's famous offshore sandbar protects swimmers from crashing surf. It is enjoyed by many people who swim to it and walk or wade along its length.

This event includes:

  • Catered BBQ from Shorty's including their delicious BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, and a variety of sides (coleslaw, beans, potato salad, and corn on the cob)
  • An assortment of beer, wine, soft drinks, & water
  • Games, snacks, and great networking under our beach-side pavilion on Key Biscayne
