We are thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for the Pan India Booth Alumni Retreat (PIBAR '13) and we are inviting alumni from the Asia Pacific region to join us this year.
The full story....
Based on a very successful alumni retreat that we held in November last year in Delhi, where 80 alums from across India came together, we resolved that we should come together at least once a year to provide ourselves an opportunity to reflect and make sense of what is happening around us.
So we've chosen a fabulous location: Novotel Juhu, Mumbai. We want to make sure that the place allows us to unwind, meet old friends, and make many new ones - to connect on a personal and professional level, and of course, party like there's no tomorrow.
We have come up with a fantastic program which balances some learning along with a lot of play, and are very pleased to announce that we have got in attendance as participants and speakers:
- Dean Sunil Kumar: Our Dean is flying from Chicago especially for the PIBAR weekend!
- Luis Miranda, '89, Former Chairman of IDFC PE
- Jerry Rao, '81, Chairman, Value and Budget Housing Corp.
- Mohandas Pai: Chairman of Manipal Global Education and former Member of the Board of Directors of Infosys
- Aditya Puri: Managing Director, HDFC Bank
- Andrew M. Alper, AB '80, MBA '81: Former President of New York City's Economic Development Council, former COO of Goldman Sachs and Chairman, Board of Trustees, University of Chicago
You will need to book and pay for your travel to PIBAR '13
The event itself is free
In order to make this event free for attendees, we have been generously sponsored by Alumni Relations, Booth's Global Visibility Fund and of course alumni contributions. If you would like to sponsor the Retreat in either your individual capacity or through your company then please email me.
Please note that we are budgeting for shared rooms. If you would like to take a single occupancy room, then you will need to pay the differential cost, which is approx. Rs 4000 - so please factor that in.
